Update: August 20th

As of August 16th, 2021 California’s Assembly Bill AB-45 (Aguiar-Curry) was moved to the suspense file at the Senate Appropriations Committee for fiscal review. The Suspense hearing is scheduled for August 26th where the committee will either approve, hold back or make it a 2-year bill. Revisions have been made to the bill, meaning both the Assembly and Senate will need to vote on the bill following passage in committee.. Letters and phone calls are needed to both houses NOW. Senate and Assembly hearings will be completed on this bill by September 10th.
